About Us

BasketBasket was launched in 2008 in order to sell handmade ethically sourced woven baskets, handbags, hats and giraffes from different parts of Africa. We are proud to offer an eco-friendly alternative to people who share our belief in the demise of the plastic bag.

We welcome your suggestions and comments on our range of baskets and our website. Please contact us using the link above.

As all our baskets are handmade, so may vary slightly in size and style from the photos on our website.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Proceed to Checkout' and you will be asked for contact details so that we need to be able to complete the order. You can add an alternative address and leave details if your purchase is a gift. You can also register for an account to keep track of your orders and your details will be kept securely for the future.

We use WorldPay for our online payments. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order in GB sterling and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We are VAT registered and our number is 200 808 059

When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send shipping confirmation or send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

You can pay by PayPal or any of the major credit and debit cards.
